That Friend Katie is a heart-centered coaching practice where you’re deeply heard and gently supported. Through conversation, reflection, and nervous-system-aware pacing, Katie helps you slow down, name what’s true, and build steadier ways to move forward.

This is coaching — not therapy, not counseling, and not medical care.

Katie is not a licensed therapist and does not diagnose, treat, or provide crisis services. This work is supportive and educational in nature.

The way we work with what you bring. As you share, Katie listens not just for the words, but for the meaning underneath them. Then she creates tailored reflection resources to support your process using a creative, storytelling-based approach that helps you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels personal, grounded, and sustainable.

These creative tools are part of coaching and reflection — not art therapy or clinical treatment.

Coaching, not therapy. Not crisis support.

In-Person Coaching Sessions (Seattle area)

We can sit quietly, talk through what’s present, or take a walk along the beach. Whether we meet in conversation or in shared silence, we’ll move at a pace that feels right to you.

Remote Coaching Sessions

If you’re not able to travel, we can meet online via a secure video option.

Between-Session Support (Planned Together)

Support can continue between scheduled sessions through secure messaging, based on a plan we agree on during your coaching sessions.
